Shapemaster is delighted to announce the appointment of their new Leisure Sales Manager Alex Perrior and Leisure Marketing Manager Laura Childs. The appointments will ensure Shapemaster continue with their ambitious growth strategy in the leisure sector whilst helping leisure operators to tap into the older exercise market.
Alex Perrior brings with her a wealth of experience having worked with some of world’s leading fitness equipment suppliers since 2008, including Precor, Wattbike and most recently Life Fitness. She has worked with many large national operators and brands as a key account manager, including Places Leisure, energie Fitness Clubs, Hilton Hotels and Anytime Fitness. As key account manager for Anytime Fitness Alex was instrumental in ensuring successful club openings and installations of Life Fitness equipment for new franchisees around the UK and in addition re-established the Hilton Hotels account. Prior to this Alex was instrumental in securing the Active Nation tender for Precor.
Laura Childs joins the team from Life Leisure, a multi award-winning leisure trust, based in the North West of England, where she headed the marketing and communications department for 18 years. During her time at the leisure trust she oversaw the launch and development of numerous brands and physical activity programmes and was instrumental in driving campaigns which saw membership grow from 3.5k members to in excess of 19k.

Both Alex and Laura are passionate about fitness and the impact it can have on people lives and wider communities. Alex is a keen runner and triathlete, having completed two Ironman events, 6 marathons, three Ride London 100 mile cycle events and numerous half marathons! She also chairs her local running club, which has in excess of 500 members.
Laura is an ex-professional squash player, who reached a world ranking of 42. She has also completed two Rat Race OCR events, a 100 mile Coast to Coast cycle and many other running challenges.
